FREE RECIPE

Try our tasty Chilli Spaghetti for dinner tonight.

It’s low in calories, packed with zingy chillis to help warm your winter nights and incredibly affordable (to really drive down costs, use supermarket own-brand grated hard cheese instead of fresh parmesan).

Ingredients:
A handful of raw broccoli tops
1 tbsp parmesan cheese
1 red or green chilli
1 raw garlic clove
1 tsp olive oil
1 sliced tomato and onion side salad
1 pinch salt
70g raw spaghetti

Instructions:
Fill a good-sized saucepan with water, add a pinch of salt bring to the boil and cook 70g spaghetti according to pack instructions.

Meanwhile, spray nonstick pan with a little oil, add a quarter of a chopped, deseeded chilli, a clove of crushed garlic and some broccoli florets and stir fry at a high heat for five minutes or until the vegetables have softened.

Add to the cooked spaghetti and toss and serve. Sprinkle with 50g of grated Parmesan cheese. Mix well. Serve with a side salad of sliced, fresh tomatoes and finely chopped onion (red onion works particularly well).

If raw onions are too strong for you, try chives as an alternative.
